Why Burgershoot? What is the purpose of the project? When will more official information be given?

This forum probably will be closed in favor of open.mp, where everything will be transitioned to. For now, this forum will be used.

This forum won't be going anywhere, O:MP will get it's own forum and will be separate from burgershot. We will most likley link to the O:MP forum when it is available.

Why not just switch the domain of this to OpenMP? What will this forum offer separately to the OpenMP one?
