Hi guys I propose to make Smart TVs, as in mta it will be a new level SAMP, Video example, watch 1 Minutes 50 seconds

I really hope CEF will become a thing, hopefully optimized. Allowing the framing of websites etc opens so much more possibilities for mdc's and other systems like banking, phones where it can all be handled on the web.

CEF is just an embedded browser that eats a lot of RAM. There are far better solutions to render HTML.

but in all honesty I don't think this is necessary. Imo it's a gimmick and in every game that has this feature its a thing you use once and go "heh thats cool" and never touch it again (Gmod cinema is an example).
Yeah it would be cool but I don't think it would be possible to get it implemented properly and efficiently without taking up time that could be used for 100 other things that are much more important.
That's my opinion anyway

I understand the attraction of something like this. Sure, you can use existing skills and tools to build any UI.
The issues with this are:
- it's not going to match the game at all - it's not "San Andreas" it's whatever CSS the server dev wrote
- it's resource heavy - you have to process all that content on the fly, just like a browser
- it's a security risk - you're running JS on the client, yes it's in a VM but it's still a risk
- more data to download
- bitcoin mining...
- advertisement and tracking and user data
- go play a Garry's Mod server and experience the adverts, the 30 second waiting timers, the "pay $5 to skip ads", yeah... fun.

That not an update, thats a bump. But I was thinking about this suggestion and thought maybe beign able to create user interfaces with html and css could be a nice feature for server developers. But using NetSurf instead of CEF. NetSurf doesn't support html5 yet but it support html 4 and css 2.1 and it's super lightweight.

Usually YouTube videos don't violate rules. It would be imposible to watch porn or smth like that using YouTube.

CEF is a terrible thing. Specially for the application of game interfaces. Making experience slower for users for the sake of making things easier for developers should never be acceptable under no condition whatsoever. with the exception of libraries where the performance loss is in the neighborhood of microseconds.
As for Youtube videos: Simply not worth it.
